Years going by, I guess I'll just count the numbers...

I was coming via bus to a place named "Gajraula" when an alert came on Facebook,"On this day". I was amazed to see all those write-ups by me which were a toast to the year that went by. I started writing the toast in year end, 2011. By the way, 'Gajraula' is the place where I was brought up by my parents(and my sister, though being a year younger, :p), where I studied till class 12, where my father worked for the last 20 years and this is his last new year celebrations being in service. So after revealing my purpose of visiting Gajraula, let's take a look at the year that passed.

Another year passed, life being a tipsy- turvy maze of experiences, a plethora of awesome moments. The year started with a visit to snow cladded Shimla and Kufri with Dhirendra. I saw snow for the first time in my life time. It was an awesome experience. Also, I cherished the memories of college visit to Shimla. Then the month followed with the visit to Deoghar, for the marriage of our close friend Amrita. Again, it was something of a vivid experience of a love marriage of two different cultures. The marriage established my faith in love, as the bride and groom were commited for the last 6-8 years and finally together.

In April, Ashish,  my old friend and flatmate under went the cure of his back ache during the summers. Priya went to pursue MS in the US. I still remember the Maggie she prepared for me on her last day in Chandigarh. We all,  me, Ashish Ojha,  Dhirendra,  Priya met in Delhi in May.  Then came May 19, a major turn in the so called Infy-life.  I experienced bench for the first time in professional life. As per my joke,  I came to know if the bench was of wood of steel. Be it of wood or steel,  one thing was sure, it contained thorns,  the thorns of boredom and self study.  I came to know that on the job learning is always better than self learning mode. Many a friends were switching the jobs,  but I was all nervous as I was not in that mode due to my previous project. I never wanted to go in that line. A few of them went for higher studies again leaving me in a dilema of what to do next. I am still in that dilema. Things are pretty messed up actually.

I was all messed up,  on bench,  no goal in life,  stuck in darkness. Abhinav and Isha were my only support at that time,  supporting me and pushing me to get the things done. She went for the preparation of CAT and Abhinav had some differences with me later. Things are now good between us. Then,  I visited Ujjain in June,  the abode of lord Shiva, also known as the Mahakaal, with my family. I took them via flight and captured invaluable smile and pride on their faces. I met Anubhav in July, and was happy to see him smiling and doing well in the new company,  took party from him as well.

Months went in flash in the tension of grabbing a project as bench life was dangerous both for Infymployment and my career. Ashish returned finally in october and helped me grab a good project,  and he got a good one in Amex. Bharat was a constant support as he visted me during ghe lonely life and always tried to cheer me up,  taking me on rides to various places in his car. We(Ashish Ojha,  Bharat, Ashish, Dhirendra) went for a hike to India's engineering Megastructure - The Bhakra Nangal Dam.

November brought the joy of celebrating Diwali with my family and then enjoying the wedding of cousin sissy Neha. Just want to thank all those who were a constant support during this journey of 2015. Ashish continued to be a special force during this year as well. Wrapping all this,  I just want to say,  things become cool,  we just need to change the attitude. A big thanks to Ashish,  Bharat,  Dheer, Abhinav,  Priya, Shubhangi, Saumya, Isha, Anubhav, Heena(for awesome breakfast sessions), Shivani, Vijit, Shobhita, Ayush,  Ashutosh, Prashant, Prem, Sakshi, Ojha,  Amrita, Roli(the quizzing sessions),  Anupama,  Athira, Ankita,  Mahima, Puri, Saurabh,  Sanyam,  Tarush,  Priyanshu,  Mohit,  Nidhi and my family. Please excuse me if I forgot anyone important.
